Depart in the morning heading to the mother temple, Besakih located on slopes of Mt Agung,

Bali’s highest volcano. Besakih is the largest temple complex, the most important temple, and holiest temple for the Hindu religion in Bali. Continue to visit the cool oasis of the Water Garden ( Tirta Gangga ) with its spring-fed pools, a former water palace of Karangasem Kingdom built in the late 1940’s. Next, enjoy your set menu lunch at a local restaurant on the foot hill, surrounded by rice field with the majestic Mt. Agung as the background.

Onward, visit Tengan village, home to Bali aborigines. The village is famous for exquisite,

authentic textiles ( double ikat ) and craft works. At the end of the day before transfer to your

hotel, stop at the 18th century courthouse “ Kertagosa “ famous for its intricately painted ceiling depicting various forms of punishment awaiting those who do evil while on earth.

Session 1Explore Besakih Temple

Depart in the morning heading to the mother temple, Besakih located on slopes of Mt Agung,

Session 2Tirta Gangga
